Coby Sey is a British musician and producer known for his experimental approach to electronic music. His interest in sound manipulation led him to produce tracks that draw inspiration from jazz, hip-hop, and ambient music. Known to many for his impressive collaborations with Tirzah, Mica Levi, Klein and of course, other contemporaries that are shaping the sounds synonymous with South East London, Sey’s influence stretches across many of the most important UK records of this decade. Sey's debut album Conduit (2022) released via AD93, was a radical album that conveyed the power of magic and truth via his uniquely woozy and corrosive post-grime sound that flirts with post-punk, jazz fusion and experimental electronics. He has continued to push the boundaries of electronic music and exploring new sonic territories, by emphasising on texture and atmosphere, as well as the use of found sounds and field recordings.
