Olan Monk is a performer and musician from Connemara, Galway. Their music collages influences that ranges from shoegaze, witch house, cloud rap, to Irish traditional music, and sean-nós singing.
Their upcoming album, Songs For Nothing, is out 7 November 2025 via AD 93. The album is indebted to Olan's home of Connemara. The western, Atlantic-facing edge of Ireland has a particular feeling and energy, one that permeates the release. As the sleeve states, the album is “dedicated to Conamara and all who have called it home”.
